A 2-year-old Britain boy Oscar Wrigley has an IQ of at least 160, which is equivalent as Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. He has become the youngest boy in Britain to join Mensa – the oldest and best known high-IQ society in the world.

Assessors at the Gifted Children’s Information Centre in Solihull said Oscar Wrigley is one of the brightest children in the world. He ranks in the 99.99th percentile of the population. The IQ test shows that his IQ reached 160, which is the highest score measured on the Stanford-Binet test

Oscar’s father Joe, 29, is an IT specialist from Reading in Berkshire and mother Hannah, 26, is a housewife.

According to Oscar’s parents, they knew he was extremely bright and unusually alert when he was 12 weeks. He started talking at nine months, recited the alphabet in the bath by 18 months, and by the time he turned two, he had a vocabulary stretching to thousands of words.

Joe said: “Oscar was recently telling my wife about the reproductive cycle of penguins.

“He is always asking questions. Every parent likes to think their child was special but we knew there was something particularly remarkable about Oscar.

Mrs Wrigley said Oscar’s vocabulary is amazing, he is able to construct complex sentences like “Mummy, sausages are like a party in my mouth.”

I think my IQ is close to 160 too because when I was two, I told my mum that: “Mummy, I put sausages in my mouth in a party,” very close to what Oscar told his mother…I’m waiting for Mensa to invite me to be their member!
