Boy Who Has 31 Fingers and Toes Has Removed Extra Digits
Mar 24
A 6-year-old Chinese boy from Harbin, China, has total of 31 fingers and toes; 7 fingers on one hand, 8 on the other (although we can count 7 only from the photo), and 8 toes on each foot.

The world’s record holders of “Most Number of Digits Ever Recorded on a Human Being” are two Indian children Pranamya Menaria and Devendra Harne, who both have 12 fingers and 13 toes; so, this Chinese boy is the “unofficial holder” of this world’s record.

By the way, the Chinese boy has undergone a 6.5 hours operation on March 23, 2010, to remove the extra digits. Doctors at a hospital in Shenyang, Liaoning province, said the gruelling surgery for the boy was a success. Here are the latest photos of the boy’s feet and right hand.
