The 72-year-old Slovenian artist Franc Grom uses the discarded eggshells to turn them into beautiful works of art. I’m much younger than Franc Grom but I don’t have such good eyesight and patient, sigh…Franc Grom has 18 years of experience in eggshell carving.

The eggshell carving first uses the micro-drill to drill thousands of holes, then carving out exquisite designs. The process of creating an eggshell carving needs creativity and patience; and each eggshell work take months to complete.


The beautiful art works of Grom is selling at about $500 per piece.
