Do you know that Facebook can use your picture for its sponsors’ ads without paying you any single cent? It is stated in the Facebook terms of services but many of us didn’t realize it.

There is a new use of pictures that has many scratching their heads. Sponsors can use your Facebook photos to advertise, making you a spokesperson for services and products.

The computer system collects information about you and when your friends log on they see you. If you become a fan of a product, your picture may show up in the ad for the product.

But you can change your settings to opt out of social ads so that Facebook can’t use your pictures for advertising.

Here are the simple steps:

* Go to the settings tab
* Then to the privacy section
* Look at the news feed and wall section
* Then go to Facebook ads option and appearance in Facebook ads
* Click “no one”

I haven’t see my picture in Facebook ads but I know they will use my pictures because I am so good looking, I can understand that, it’s a waste if they don’t use my picture…
