This is a very special beauty pageant because the none of the contestants are not pretty ladies but they are all pretty goats! Yes, it is a goat “beauty contest” in Ramygala, about 150 km (93 miles) from the capital Vilnius, which was held on July 5, 2010. The goat in the picture below is the winner of this competition, she is “Miss” Grazyolyte.

Thirteen goats were entered into the competition which was held to commemorate the 640th anniversary of the founding of the village that was declared this year as the capital of Lithuanian culture. The goat is a symbol of the village during the medieval times.
