A 62-year-old American man John Tabutt accidentally shot and killed his fiancée just the day before their wedding. He mistaken his fiancée Nancy Dinsmore as an “intruder” in their Florida house, he grabbed his gun and shot her.

Sobbing and moaning, Mr Tabutt called emergency services at about 2.30am on Friday local time.

“I thought I had an intruder in the house,” he told the emergency dispatcher.

“Honest to God, she looks dead.”

Detective were waiting on forensic results but added that no charges were likely to be filed against Mr. Tabutt.

He appeared “very concerned about his fiancée’s well-being”, standing by while she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The couple had been planning to get married in a small ceremony at a local church on the next day. “They loved each other,” Dinsmore’s son-in-law Scott Sposato said. “It was quite apparent.”

I’m wondering how he can forget this incident in his remaining life…killing someone he loves just day before their wedding…
