The 22-year-old scientist and model Nelson Lee, who was representing Bisan, won the title of Mister Singapore 2009 on October 9, 2009 at the 10th Annual Mister Singapore pageant from Zirca.

Nelson was born in Singapore but migrated to Australia when he was 10. He returned to Singapore to serve his national service’s duties and worked as a scientist after completing his degree in Biomedical Science from Bradford University.

Nelson was also a national swimmer and tennis player with the Victoria All Boys team. He was voted one of the 50 Most Gorgeous Men in Singapore for 2008. He will represent Singapore in the Mister International 2009 pageant in Taiwan on December 19.
