World Largest Underwater Museum in Mexico
Dec 1
The world’s largest underwater museum in Mexico has a total of 400 life-size sculptures that were created by artist Jason Taylor. It will take some times for the coral to grow on the figures but snorkelers and scuba divers can already tour the sub-aquatic museum before it is ready in 2011.
Besides promoting tourism in that area, the project is also designed to keep people away from the area’s coral reefs, which have suffered extensive damage due to the high volume of visitors.
I don’t like to visit museum but I am looking forward to visit this world’s largest underwater museum once it is completed in 2011; yes, right before the “judgment day” in 2012!
