World’s Longest Fingernails Broken in Car Crash
Sep 10
The Guinness World Record holder of longest fingernails broke off her fingernails in a car crash in February. The 68-year-old woman Lee Redmond from Salt Lake City took 30 years to grow and keep her world record’s fingernails.
However, she feels much easier to do things and her hands are freed from the “weight” since the nails gone.
Lee Redmond hadn’t cut her fingernails since 1979 and set the Guinness World Record for longest fingernails on a woman in 2002.
Want to know how long were her fingernails? Well, the Guinness World Record stated that her fingernails measured a total of more than 28 feet long in 2008; her right thumb’s nail was longest, measured 2 feet, 11 inches…incredible!
According to Redmond, she won’t grow her nails out again; of course, it will take another 30 years to grow, at that time, she is 98-year-old, provided she is still alive.
How many 30 years you think you can have in your entire life? Normally 2 to 3 but I think I have more…
